It is with deep regret that the BWC have to cancel the Training Expo set for this Saturday (November 6th) in Nottingham.
The cancellation is due to a problem with the electrical supply to the venue which is not expected to be resolved by the weekend. We have tried to find an alternative venue for the event however, at such short notice, we have been unable to find a venue that suits our training needs.
At this time we are hoping to reschedule for the near future. Anyone who has paid a deposit will be contacted in the near future regarding refunds/transfer of deposits to the rescheduled date.

Please accept the apologies of both the British Wrestling Council and the venue, Sport Nottingham, for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for supporting the British Wrestling Council.
Second National Training Expo - Date TBC
Following on from the phenomenal success of our last National Training Expo the BWC are pleased to announce that a second event is being held on Saturday November 6th at Sport Nottingham and what’s more we are slashing the price!
The August Expo featured Robbie Brookside, Justin Richards, Mark Sloan, Greg Lambert and Alex Shane as trainers and was also attended by WWE European Talent Scout Drew McDonald. We have received outstanding feedback about the day including this selection of comments from students who attended:
“All seminars were both enjoyable and informative. I feel I will come out of this a far better all round performer and wish to come to more expos in the future” Hamish Campbell, Futureshock Trainee
“I have learnt more than I thought I ever would in one day, loved every second” Vicky Howard, XWA Trainee
“Today I have learnt some excellent training tips and advice. I would recommend this to all future wrestling students” Rich Hale, NGW Trainee
“Honoured to take part in the experience that happened today. Loved the technical sessions with Robbie Brookside and Justin Richards” Aaron Wilkinson, XWA Trainee
The inter-school Exhibition Wrestling competition was well received and thanks to all the students who took part in it. The competition was won by the House of Pain Wrestling School based in Nottingham- huge congratulations to Dave Breaks, SC Supreme, Nate Colt and Shane Spyral who represented House of Pain.
Look out for footage of this event and a full DVD release coming to the BWC website soon!
Already confirmed as trainers for the next event on November 6th are Alex Shane, Greg Lambert, 'The Heavyweight House of Pain' Stixx, and The Rockstar Spud, with more names due to be announced in the coming weeks. We will also once again be running an inter-school Exhibition Wrestling competition, places in the competition are extremely limited so schools should contact Alex directly about entering a team as soon as possible. As time restrictions mean we will be unable to accommodate a team from every BWC school, schools with the largest number of attending students will be given preference should there be too many teams submitted.
The price of the full days training is just £32.50 per person. Places can be reserved by paying a £12.50 deposit with the balance payable on the day, please note that all deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be paid via paypal.co.uk using the email address admin@britishwrestlingcouncil.com (Please note this is a .com address, not the usual .org address we use for email) We are expecting an extremely high demand for places so please book early to avoid disappointment.
